We are always loo king for fresh artists and makers to include in our Hello Bluebird community! Even if you haven’t tried selling in a retail shop, we’d love to consider working with you and are happy to help you learn the retail ropes like pricing, assortments, etc.
Please note that we sell mainly on consignment. We find that this is the best way to keep an inspired, flexible range of products for sale in the shop, while giving artists the most freedom to experiment with new ideas and products without the limitations of post-recession retail nervous-nelly-ness. If you have any hesitation about this process, we’d love to meet with you in person or chat via phone to clear up any questions you may wish to discuss (plus, we just love to connect the “old fashioned” way!).

Once received, please don’t hesitate to send us a gentle reminder if you don’t hear from us right away. We wear a LOT of hats in a day, and sometimes things can get away from us! It never hurts to send a friendly email to give us a little nudge. Please note that we DO NOT often send rejection letters, for a variety of reasons. We also encourage you to resubmit if your work changes direction or you think a fresh application just might do the trick.
Once a seller has been approved, you will be contacted with our terms and contract for review and approval. After that, let the good times roll, baby!
